Chinese Language Students

Qualifications: aged over 18, in good health, without criminal record, high school diploma (or equivalent to the level of high school).

Application Date: through the year

Enrollment Date: March and September every year

2.A photocopy of Physical Examination Record For Foreigners

3.A photocopy of passport

4.Curriculum Vitae

5.Passport Photo(full face, 2 inches, white background )

6.Certificate of Non-criminal Record (in English or Chinese)

7.High school students: High school diploma (or equivalent to the level of high school), transcripts in high school( in English or Chinese).

8.Undergraduate or graduate: graduation certificate,final degree certificate(in English or Chinese) .

Applicants for Bachelor’s Degree (including general scholars)

Qualifications: aged over 18, in good health, without criminal record, high school diploma (or equivalent to the level of high school), the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) above level 3(applicants who fail to reach this level can apply for Chinese language study first.)

Applicants for Master’s Degree (including senior scholars, research scholars and visiting scholars.)

Qualifications: aged over 18, in good health, without criminal record, bachelor’s degree, the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) above level 4(applicants who fail to reach this level can apply for Chinese language study first.)

Application Date: March to July every year

6.Certificate of university diploma and bachelor degree (in English or Chinese). Fresh graduate can submit graduation certificate first.

8.Photos, records, videos and other materials of art works by applicant

9. Statement of Application(about major and research field, around 800 chinese characters )

10.Two letters of recommendation (associate professor or professor)

11.Certificate of Non-criminal Record (in English or Chinese)

Application Procedure

1.Application materials should be delivered to Foreign Affairs Division by mail, fax, e-mail or face-to-face.

2.Shandong University of Arts receives and verifies application, and sends qualified applicants Admission Notice of Shandong University of Arts and Visa application Form for Study in China.

3.Applicants go to embassies and consulates of the People's Republic of China to apply for student visa, with the Admission Notice of Shandong University of Arts, Visa Application Form for Study in China and Physical Examination Record For Foreigner(original copy).

Enrollment Procedures:

1.According to the schedule on Admission Notice of Shandong University of Arts, students should come to Shandong University of Arts to register on time with student visas and hand in materials as below:

a.Admission Notice of Shandong University of Arts, Visa Application Form for Study in China(original copy)

b.Physical Examination Record For Foreigner(original copy)

c.Passport and photocopy of passport

d. Six passport photos

2.Pay tuition and accommodation fee (tuition nonrefundable).

3.Get residence permit in China.
